First deep Lion assays from the summer program: PML-26-125 returned 5.70 m at 14.00% CuEqRec including 2.15 m at 24.62% CuEqRec at nearly 800 m vertical depth; PML-26-121a returned 7.70 m at 3.28% CuEqRec including 1.70 m at 11.93% CuEqRec. PML-26-128 showed sulphides near 900 m with assays pending.

About the project
Lion is part of Power Metallic’s Nisk Project Area (Nisk–Lion–Tiger) in Québec, a Cu-PGE-Ni system under option from Critical Elements Lithium with a large surrounding claim package. Near-surface high-grade mineralisation supports both resource work and deeper plunge drilling.
Summer 2026 drilling shifted toward widely spaced depth extensions below the MRE outline. September assays from PML-26-125 pushed the deepest reported Lion core intercept to nearly 800 m vertical, with further deep and regional assays still expected.
