- 05 Assay results
Western step-outs SC-26-25 and SC-26-26 extended the MEPS Copper Zone to about 700 m within a 1.3 km by 600 m footprint. SC-26-26 intersected 397.19 m at 0.37% CuEq from bedrock, including 200 m at 0.53% CuEq and 101.9 m at 0.81% CuEq; SC-26-27 assays were pending.

Holes SC-26-14 through SC-26-17 extended MEPS strike to about 1.3 km. SC-26-16 returned 450.92 m at 0.30% CuEq from bedrock including 101 m at 0.50% CuEq and 12 m at 1.70% CuEq, and intersected a mineralized granite porphyry stock with elevated molybdenum.

Hole SC-26-13 returned 445.0 m grading 0.40% CuEq, including 203.10 m at 0.51% CuEq and higher-grade intervals of 16.25 m at 2.31% CuEq and 9.50 m at 2.34% CuEq. The company reported 38 holes and 17,250 m completed toward the 20,000 m minimum.

About the project
Soo Copper is Sterling’s flagship project near Batchewana Bay, Ontario, about an hour north of Sault Ste. Marie, with road, rail and deep-water access nearby. MEPS is a porphyry-style copper system hosted in altered Neoarchean mafic volcanics cut by Mesoproterozoic felsic porphyry.
The 2026 program is systematically stepping out from the MEPS discovery to map continuity of near-surface copper and deeper molybdenum-rich zones. Drilling remained active in September with the copper zone open for further expansion.
